Villas for sale in Dalung
Desa Dalung, Kecamatan Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung
Dalung is the most populous village in Kuta Utara district, Badung. It lies inland, north of Kerobokan and Padonan and east of Tumbak Bayuh, close to Mangupura, the regency's government center. Dalung is not on the coast and has grown as a residential area, with housing spreading along its main roads. The village market, Pasar Desa Dalung, and the three village temples of Desa Adat Dalung (Pura Desa, Pura Puseh and Pura Dalem) are part of everyday life.
This is a local, working side of southwest Bali rather than a beach area. Shops, schools, small businesses and family homes fill the streets, and its customary villages keep their own ceremonies, such as the Mesalaran Tipat Bantal thanksgiving at the village temple. The nearest beaches, Berawa and Batu Bolong, are about 20 minutes away by motorbike outside rush hour (our estimate), and Green School is a little further. Dalung suits people who work in Denpasar or around Mangupura, families who want a house in a lived-in neighborhood, and anyone who values local services over a beach address.
Foreigners usually buy leasehold, or take Hak Pakai (right of use) for a home. Dalung is inland and largely built up, so check the zone, the certificate boundary, road access and the PBG and SLF permits for each property.
